  1. He’s also the biggest fan of Michael Sam and coached him to his great collegiate career. As we’ve seen in the media over the last few weeks, it’s not always easy to coach a polarizing player like Michael Sam and the “distractions” that come with it. I don’t care what Tony Dungy says or what others say about having a gay player on your team. Coach Pinkel had absolutely no problem with coaching this All American!

  2. I’d like to call out those in the SEC who thought Coach Pinkel was over his head coaching in the SEC. He’s been nothing but great. Sure he won 2 games in 2012 in the SEC but he didn’t have much of a team in 2012 with Gabbert leaving and they were in just about every game. As an anti-SEC guy, I’m rather impressed with how Pinkel has been able to shut up everybody and their ridiculous SEC arguments!
