Looks like he’s starting to come around BigCatZ. HUGE win over Oregon last night for the second consecutive year! Rich Rod is the real deal, he’s just proved it.

I guess I don’t get it. $2,000,000 for a guy that can show a bit of flash on offense and win a few games. Sure Rich Rod can put up big numbers but what has he REALLY done as a coach? His greatest feat as a coach in the W/L column is his time with West Virginia when he lead the Mountaineers to a Sugar Bowl victory in 05 but when you look at that schedule they didn’t really beat anybody good except for Georgia in the bowl game by 3. Rich Rod weaseled his way into a gig with Michigan by playing in a very lackluster conference and winning the easy games that his team was expected to win. I’d love to be wrong here but I’m definitely not drinking the kool-aid on Rich Rod until he’s shown he can win at a big time level that matches his big time contract.
