  1. It will be interesting to see how Coach Carey produces after losing the best QB the MAC conference has ever seen! Jordan Lynch has paved the way for Rod Carey and so it’s now time for Coach Carey to put up or shut up to be considered the Coach of the future for Northern Illinois. I love the guy but what really gave him the qualifications? He’s coached as some bizarre schools before NIU (Wisconsin-Stout, North Dakata, Illinois State?). I want to believe the hype but honestly I think he’s a bit over his head here in the MAC.
